ABOUT US

Ms. Debbie, director, is an active soloist, collaborative pianist, and chamber musician. She has performed extensively throughout the United States, Mexico and Europe. Ms. Mun has been an educator since 1994.

A native of South Korea, she began studying piano at five. Ms. Mun holds an Artist Diploma in Piano Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Ms. Mun also studied Master of Music and a Bachelor of Music in piano performance with a minor in Music Theory from the Cleveland Insitute of Music and the University of North Texas. 

Ms. Debbie has been on the music faculty at Music Box in New Westminster since 2016. 

In addition, Ms. Debbie was on the music faculty and served as the director of the Mass Choir at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, TX. Ms. Debbie was the founder and former artistic director of the Chagrin Valley Chamber Music, which held concerts with world-renowned artists in Cleveland, Ohio. She has appeared as a guest artist in numerous festivals, such as Park City International Music Festival, and Plovdiv International Chamber Music Festival in Bulgaria, among others. She is also a recipient of the prestigious Embassy of Honor Award from the Korean Embassy in Washington D.C.
